Feature guides
- Transactions
The Transactions screen is your full ledger — each line categorised and allocated to a property.
- Properties
Each property is its own record — settlement date, ownership, loan, and everything you've imported against it — and your portfolio view is the sum of all of them.
- Categorising transactions
Every transaction gets a suggested ATO category on import. Confirm or correct it once and BrickTrack applies the same rule the next time a similar transaction comes through.
- CSV and Excel import
Export transactions from your bank as CSV or Excel and upload them — the format BrickTrack expects, and what happens with rows it can't parse.
- Documents
Store leases, insurance policies, settlement statements and receipts against the property they belong to, so they're on hand when your accountant or a tenant needs them.
- Leases and rent roll
Record each tenancy's lease dates and rent, and BrickTrack tracks what's owed and what's been paid across your rent roll as a whole.
- Entities and ownership
Properties held through a trust, company or SMSF can be attached to an entity record, keeping that structure's portfolio, members and compliance separate from your personal holdings.
- Reports and the accountant pack
Reports turns your categorised transactions into the summaries you or your accountant actually need at tax time — tax position, CGT estimates, and a full accountant pack in one export.
- Billing and plans
Where to see your current plan, change it, or update payment details — and what happens to your data if a subscription lapses.
- The professional portal: adding and managing clients
How an accountant, broker or buyers agent gets a client into their book, either by creating the account for them or by connecting to one they already have. What each side can see and change afterwards.
- Connecting an AI assistant
Connect Claude, or any assistant that speaks MCP, to your BrickTrack account so you can ask about your portfolio in the chat you already use.
- Budget vs Actual
Type a monthly estimate for each cost line on a property, then watch how the recorded transactions track against it through the financial year. Super Investor plan and above.
